OSIRIS LETTERBOX - CAUTION: AREA IS USUALLY HOT AND HAS SOME ROUGH
ROADS.

US 25 SOUTH FROM Cerrillos Rd. past La Cienega and past Waldo Canyon
Rd. (12.4 mi.)

EXIT 264 to ROUTE 16 WEST towards PENA BLANCA. Continue past windmill
and take straight shot through La Bajada. Continue past Tetilla Peak
and between the fences past two descansos. (8 mi.)

AT END TURN RIGHT onto ROUTE 22 NORTH. Continue over both the Santa Fe
and Rio Grande Rivers and follow a monolithic grey wall. (2.6 mi.)

AT SIGN WITH A DRUM (Cochiti Pueblo) TURN LEFT. Continue past ball
field and right at fork past Pueblo St. to END OF 22. (1.6 mi.)

TURN RIGHT at FS 266 & TR 92. Continue past pavement end to
Kasha-Katuwe. Continue past windmill towards pyramid rocks. STOP at
PARKING AREA on RIGHT. (1.8 mi.)

Proceed on foot to TRAIL HEAD.

RIGHT to CANYON TRAIL. Continue into riverbed.

BEWARE of Cave Loop! Proceed INTO canyon!

Once inside the canyon seek the large TREE WITH MANY LEGS (you can
crawl under and through).

WALK (10 adult OR 15 child paces) ACROSS from the tree and up an small
embankment,. Find a pile of WHITE ROCKS. Look under the BLACK ROCK in
the middle.
